Typical Use in Schools
Desktop and all-in-one computers remain a staple of UK school computer suites, design and technology departments, and administration offices. While laptops and tablets have grown in popularity for mobile use, dedicated desktop machines offer performance, durability and value in fixed-location settings.
Computer suites typically contain 25-35 desktop or all-in-one computers, used for computing curriculum, business studies, media, and exam preparation. All-in-one designs (where the computer is built into the monitor) are particularly popular in schools due to their clean cabling, reduced footprint, and easier maintenance.
Creative departments — particularly art, design, media and music — often require higher-specification machines with dedicated graphics cards and larger screens. We can specify performance desktop machines or Apple iMacs for these applications.
Administration offices typically run Windows-based desktop machines for MIS access, finance systems, and general office productivity. These are often on longer refresh cycles than classroom machines.
Why Lease Desktops & All-in-Ones Rather Than Buy?
Computer suite refreshes can cost £25,000-£60,000. Leasing spreads this over 3-5 years, preserving capital for other priorities.
Desktops have a natural 4-5 year useful life — leasing aligns your payments with the actual usable period of the equipment.
All computers can be supplied pre-configured with your chosen OS image, software, and MDM enrolment included.
Replacing a whole computer suite in one go via lease is simpler than trying to replace machines incrementally from capital budget.
At end of lease, we collect, wipe, and responsibly dispose of or recycle all hardware — no IT disposal headache for your team.
Operating lease treatment keeps computers off your balance sheet in line with DfE guidance.

Delivery & Setup
Direct delivery to your school. Devices can be pre-configured to your MDM or imaging specification before they arrive.

End-of-Lease Return
At the end of your term, devices are typically swapped for new ones under a fresh agreement — or ownership can be taken on a finance lease. Data destruction certificates are provided for all returned devices as standard.
DfE-Compliant Lease
Available as an operating lease or a finance lease — both structured to meet DfE guidance for maintained schools and ESFA requirements for academy trusts.
Single Point of Contact
Unlike most leasing arrangements, we are both the finance company and the equipment supplier — which means one account manager, one agreement, and genuine accountability throughout the term. No brokers, no third parties, no passing the buck.
Fully Compliant Leasing
Desktop and all-in-one PC leases are structured as operating leases as defined under DfE guidance. The lease term is typically 3-5 years, and we ensure the residual value and lease payments are structured to meet the operating lease definition. All documentation is provided for your school's Finance Committee or Trust Board to support the approval process.
